Richard “Dick” Schneider
It is with a great deal of sorrow that we share the news of the passing and transfer to Post Everlasting of our beloved friend and formerCommander Richard “Dick” Schneider.
A Legionnaire for over 33 years, Dick served as the Post 199 Commander for 17 years. During his tenure as Commander, he dealt with a wide range of challenges and saw a great many changes evolving within the Post; all whilst at the helm through many successes and accomplishments. On more than one occasion, he was a confidant, a mentor, and always an inspiration. By no short measure, he was instrumental with ensuring our Post’s very survival. His contributions will not soon be forgotten.
He will be remembered fondly by his Family, Friends,Post Members, and Fellow Legionnaires.
Please keep his lovely, life-long wife, Mrs. Carole Schneider, in your prayers and thoughts.
